Here is an article that portrays Mad Mulla(Sayid Abdille Hassan) as a prelude to today's Jihadist movement. Of course, this a ridiculous assertion to make. how can you skip rest of history and forget to mention the Marshall plan and the scramble of Africa. Mad Mulla although was many things, not a jihadist-his struggle lied with colonizer of the British Empire. To call his action of patriotism an extremist act would be calling the Boston Tea incident a shameful act equally. Spare me this definitive bash that indoctrines the entire Somali populis to be carrying an innate internalization of Jihadist beginning.
